RockSolid‘s hydrogeologists, together with BushProof and with the support of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid (SHA), participated in a project on the knowledge of the aquifers of southern Madagascar. This project consisted of collecting existing data, verifying it, acquiring important and missing data, creating a reliable database and creating a useful mapping tool, in order to improve the knowledge of the groundwater functioning of Southern Madagascar. The final database will include all the information useful for the work of the water sector in the region. The cartographic tool, which is almost complete today, will be made accessible to all and will be put online in the first quarter of 2023.
